MISSION
Safe Crowds Initiative is a collective of survivors and allies committed to empowering people to improve venue and event safety in their communities.
Our goal is to enable people to create safe environments free from racism, sexism, harassment, stereotypes, physical assault, sexual assault and any other action or situation that causes harm to event attendees.
We achieve this through offering support and resources to individuals and groups who organize local projects that fit with this goal.

The Basics
Provide water and other necessities to attendees.
Active Bystander
Learn strategies for bystander intervention and teach these to your community.
Get Home Safe
Assist other attendees with finding a safe way home.
Safe Spaces
Work with Venues to Create Safe Spaces for victims and/or survivors.
Venue Improvement Campaign
Work with Venues to improve safety features such as lighting.
Culture Campaign
Create a new campaign in your community promoting safety at venues and events.
